Elizabith Waetzing, JD, founded Change Matrix with two partners in 2007 and now serves as the CEO of Change Matrix (CM) a womanowned small business that motivates, manages and measures change to support systems that improve lives. Beginning her career as a lawyer for children and families in child welfare and juvenile justice, trained as a mediator, serving as a facilitator and coach, Ms. Waetzig has partnered with community, state, federal and philanthropic organizations to engage participants to envision a desired future, identify a path to get there, and implement actions needed to make progress while learning along the way

She brings substantive and process experience in children’s mental health, a public health approach to mental health, early childhood systems, child welfare, cultural and linguistic competence, conflict engagement, change management, youth engagement and systems building. 

Tanesha has over a decade of experience in strategic operations and executive support across the nonprofit, education, and social impact sectors.

Grounded in a deep commitment to justice, equity, and community resilience, Tanesha brings a systems-minded approach to her work—supporting executive leadership, optimizing virtual operations, and leading special projects that foster inclusive, mission-aligned growth.

She has led cross-functional teams, coordinated large-scale events, and managed complex executive logistics to support small businesses and mission-driven entrepreneurs in streamlining operations and developing equity-centered internal policies. With degrees in English, Organizational Communication, and Project Management she bridges strategic planning, internal communications, and tech-driven operations to ensure effective alignment across Change Matrix.

Based in Georgia, Tanesha enjoys reading all things fiction, creative writing, and spending time with her family.
