Nancy Vang, MEd, is a Change Consultant and Project Manager at Change Matrix, where she contributes to the Expanding the Bench® Initiative focusing on redistributing power in the evaluation ecosystem to create systems change. She specializes in program design and management, strategic planning, organizational leadership, and human resource management. Nancy is passionate about advancing equity and justice for individuals and communities to live safe, healthy, and successful lives and working with organizations to create sustainable practices to support the people they serve.
As a first-generation daughter of Hmong refugees, Nancy is committed to elevating the lived experiences of indigenous and racially/ethnically diverse communities, and work to provide pathways for them to access opportunities they deserve. From her experience working in public schools, higher education, and community organizing, she believes that together, people power can create change. Nancy received a Master of Education in human resource development from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Nancy lives in the Bay Area, CA where she enjoys caring for her growing collection of plants, building muscles through strength training, cooking her mother’s recipes, photography, unplugging outdoors, gaming, and traveling.
