What is it?
With the desire to understand and implement a system of care approach in tribes and communities throughout Wisconsin, the Department of Health Services engaged Change Matrix to plan and facilitate a statewide summit. Over a year, Change Matrix partnered with agency leaders to engage participants, design the summit, and convene a diverse group. With varied understanding and alignment with system of care, the summit was to inform, align, and identify actions that would contribute to a strategic plan for system of care.
What Change Matrix does
- Partner to define the purpose, engage a guiding team, and outline a process for planning the summit.
- Engage participants in Thought Exchange, focus groups, and interviews to understand challenges, successful strategies, and strengths to create conditions for system of care
- Draft summit agenda based upon data gathered and guiding team input and feedback
- Prepare speakers and facilitate summit activities
Why we love this work
CM motivates and manages change in partnership with state agencies seeking more effective and collaborative systems for the mental health of children, youth and families. By integrating voices of lived experiences to bring the data to life, this summit promoted new connections, increased understanding, and a commitment to collaborative and comprehensive system of care in Wisconsin tribes and communities.
