DESCRIPTION:Creating Conditions for Change\nThis opening session introduces the Transforming Academia for Equity (TAE) initiative and the Leading Through Change Framework (LTCF) developed by Change Matrix. LTCF is the conceptual framework guiding TAE grantee institutions through meaningful\, equity-centered transformation. Participants will gain an understanding of why creating the right conditions is a critical and often underestimated first step in any DEIB or health equity change process. \nThrough a moderated “Celebrity Interview” featuring TAE Coordinating Center staff and representatives from the University of California\, Los Angeles\, and Drexel University\, attendees will hear how approaches to the importance of relationships\, building a shared vision\, and establishing common definitions are essential groundwork.
