Change Matrix (CM) is pleased to be partnering with Altarum and W2 Consulting to partner with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) to support states and local communities as they build systems around the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. We are working to ensure that everyone has a number to call, someone to respond, and a safe place to be. Across the lifespan, in every community, in states, tribes, and territories we are working hard to implementing funded, appropriately staffed systems to support all people who are in need of crisis response. CM is tasked specifically to support the effort to embed equity in the 988 crisis response system. We introduced this effort with a webinar on January 31, 2024, and are up geared up for embedding equity convening in Rockville in March. Stay tuned!
