Lakiya Teixeira brings over seven years of experience supporting executives in nonprofit and healthcare settings, where she developed a solid foundation in operations, planning, and administration. With a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and ongoing training toward her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Lakiya combines technical knowledge with a passion for seamless coordination.
At Change Matrix, she leads travel logistics and event planning efforts across multiple teams, including TAE, ETB, and CEC. She has streamlined internal systems by creating travel SOPs, onboarding materials, and event planning tools that support smooth execution and financial transparency. Whether managing executive travel, developing budgets, or coordinating multi-day retreats, Lakiya brings a detail-oriented, proactive approach rooted in care and collaboration.
Inspired by the mission-driven work of her colleagues and partners, Lakiya is committed to showing up as her best self to support equitable, community-centered change. Outside of work, she enjoys acting, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and close friends.
