The Issue
Persons with lived-experience bring a unique set of expertise to change work that cannot be learned through professional development or education. Administrators are beginning to recognize the importance of inclusion of lived-experience, however meaningfully including lived-experience in change work remains an adaptive challenge for both the professionals and the people bringing lived-experience to the table, particularly across generations and cultures.
Our Approach
CM supports all stakeholders in partnering equally to effectively communicate, collaborate, and create lasting change for the benefit of persons with lived-experience and their community. CM offers facilitators with lived-experience who model partnership in facilitation, coaching, and implementation work, and offers relevant training to stakeholders in order to develop the skills to effectively collaborate with one another.
