DESCRIPTION

This half-hour “coffee talk” webinar features a 15-minute formal presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A and discussion.

This National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Child, Youth, & Family Mental Health (NTTAC) webinar will consist of a brief overview presentation that describes considerations for building a continuum of services and supports around infant and early childhood mental health in order to expand early childhood systems of care (SOC). Drawing on work of former and current SOC grantees, NTTAC will discuss strategies for expanding infant and early childhood SOCs and cover a range of services and supports that could be expanded in building early childhood SOCs. These include promotion and prevention approaches that support social-emotional development and more intensive supports and services for young children with or at-risk for mental health diagnoses.
