Change Consultant, Project Manager
“There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.” – Pale Blue Dot from astronomer Carl Sagan
Alina (she/her/hers) believes strongly in the power and necessity of community involvement to bring about sustainable improvements in health and wellbeing. Dissatisfied with the presence of health and opportunity disparities, she strives to support change processes to build a more equitable, just, and progressive world. As a second generation, bi-racial, multi-cultural professional, she brings an equity lens to all of her work and focuses on health equity, strategic communications, evaluation, intentional data visualization, and capacity building to support change towards social justice. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Public Health focusing on evaluation, epidemiology, and sustainability planning in diverse cultural communities. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking (and almost any outdoor activity possible in Colorado), spending time with fur friends (wild and domesticated), cooking, baking, taking photos, throwing (ceramics), drawing, puzzling, building, and caring for her apartment garden.
