Eliminating disparities in behavioral health in a community requires the involvement and commitment to collaborative efforts by multiple diverse parties. This level of collaboration is complex and dependent on stakeholders understanding and ability to manage change, understand culture, engage conflict and communicate effectively.

Change Matrix developed a 2-day training and follow-up coaching model called, The Four Cs of Collaboration: Culture, Change, Conflict and Communication. Participants in this workshop gain awareness, increase knowledge and apply new skills on both individual and organizational levels within each of the 4 Cs of collaboration. Through reflection, interactive exercises and dialogue as well as presentation, they apply their new learning to challenges they are currently facing as well as create an action plan for the future.

Outcomes for the training include:

  • Increase their understanding of the value and process of collaboration for themselves and their organizations;
  • Identify and understand conflict, culture and change as a part of collaboration; and
  • Increase awareness and application of a framework for cross cultural dialogue

Participant Feedback:
“All of our board members should attend this course.”
“One of the VERY best conferences I have ever attended.”
“I learned multiple strategies and ideas to increase and improve collaborative work and techniques to increase meaningful communication.”
