We are capacity builders. We engage in exploration and inquiry to support leaders to set goals, define outcomes and manage change.

Consultation, Technical Assistance, and Training

We believe that meaningful consultation, technical assistance, and training begins with knowing our clients. With this understanding, we take a bi-directional approach to developing the scope of the consultation, technical assistance, and training with our clients. We draw from existing capacities and strengths of organizations to create together transformative future plans, implementation strategies, and desired outcomes.

Planning, Implementation, and Monitoring

Groups are required to change and adapt quickly in today’s world. We support groups by helping them define where they are, where they want to go, and how to best get to achieve their goals. As seasoned facilitators and strategic planners, we help groups manage the change process, develop implementation plans, and identify strategies for monitoring progress.

Change Management Facilitation

Change management requires a process in which a sequence of activities are initiated for change or transformation in order to drive individual transitions and ensure the project meets its intended outcomes. CM supports key elements of a successful change management process, such as engaging people for change, preparing for change, managing change, and reinforcing change. The “facilitator” serves is a guide or “discussion leader” for the group involved in the change process. The facilitator holds the space for groups to have crucial and challenging conversations. Both individual and professional experience and response to change are addressed.

Evaluation

Change Matrix approach to evaluation involves collaborative and participatory processes to design evaluation plans that will collect a mixture of quantitative and qualitative data, resulting in useful and valid knowledge. Our approach to evaluation is built on our experience with effective partnerships with communities, innovative evaluation strategies, and cultural competence.

Coaching

We see ourselves at CM as capacity builders.  We believe that leaders of state and local system change are best supported when CM partners act as facilitative coaches.  In that relationship, we engage in exploration and inquiry to support leaders to set goals, define outcomes and manage change.  Coaching can be focused on whole system change or individual areas of adaptive change such as engaging persons with lived experience, addressing disparities or implementing a trauma informed approach.
