Change Matrix, as a subcontractor to the National Council for Behavioral Health, is working with the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions (CIHS) to provide training and technical assistance (TTA) to SAMHSA Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration (PBHCI) grantees around their Health Disparities Impact Statements. In addition to the identification of sub-populations (i.e., by race/ethnicity or sexual identity), grantees are required to develop plans to (1) implement policies and procedures that ensure cultural and linguistic needs of the sub-population are met; (2) review outcomes data regarding race, ethnicity, and LGBT status and develop quality improvement strategies based on the outcomes; and (3) establish policies and procedures that adhere to National CLAS Standards. Change Matrix will work with grantees in implementing these plans.
