Leading Through Conflict is a training that The Collaboration LAB partners, Change Matrix, Sound Options Group and Georgetown University for Child and Human Development developed in 2011. The training highlights the different roles that leaders take in the presence of conflict: Participant, Facilitator and Arbiter. In each role, the leader increases their awareness and capacity to implement a process that includes preparation, convening the conversation, increasing mutual understanding and moving from inquiry to action. This training invites leaders to be intentional about who they are as leaders and who they choose to be as leaders in conflict.

Pennsylvania leaders in their system of care attended one of the Leading Through Conflict 3-day training sessions held at Georgetown. They have now engaged the Collaboration LAB to provide training for up to 100 family and system leaders across their state.
